AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Payroll Manager for a direct-hire role in Los Angeles, CA. You will lead full-cycle payroll for 500+ employees across multi-state locations, ensuring compliance and on-time payments in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, expert ADP Workforce Now skills, and fluency in Spanish and English to collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive payroll experience.
• Restaurant industry payroll experience required.
• Bilingual Spanish and English communication skills required.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll, wage and hour laws, payroll taxes, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bi-weekly payroll processing for 500+ employees across multi-state locations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, payroll tax regulations, and labor compliance requirements.
• Oversee payroll tax filings, reconciliations, quarter-end processing, year-end processing, deductions, garnishments, benefits, and wage assignments.
• Review, audit, and process meal and rest period premium payments and labor compliance-related payroll adjustments.
• Generate and analyze payroll reports for HR, Finance, Operations, and senior leadership.
• Partner with HR on new hires, terminations, pay changes, promotions, leaves of absence, benefits, and employee status updates.
