Job summary

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll using ADP Workforce Now.
• Review and edit employee timesheets using ADP Workforce Manager.
• Process payroll changes, direct deposits, bonuses, commissions, and manual checks.
• Administer court-ordered deductions and other withholdings.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare payroll reports, W-2s, verifications, and unemployment requests.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports for HR using Excel.
• Submit payroll funding requests for 401(k) and other plans.
• Assist with independent driver payments and related activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.

Bilingual Payroll Specialist (English/Spanish)

Location: Secaucus, NJ

We are partnering with a well-established organization in the Secaucus, NJ area to identify a detail-oriented Bilingual Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing end-to-end payroll processes using ADP Workforce Now.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll using ADP Workforce Now
• Review and edit employee timesheets using ADP Workforce Manager
• Process employee payroll changes, direct deposits, bonuses, commissions, and manual checks
• Administer court-ordered deductions and other payroll withholdings
• Respond to employee and management payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare payroll reports, W-2s, employment verifications, and unemployment requests
• Generate weekly and monthly payroll reports for HR using Excel
• Submit payroll funding requests for 401(k) and Credit Union contributions
• Assist with independent driver payments, reporting, and other payroll-related activities
• Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information
• Support additional payroll and accounting functions as needed

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and payroll experience
• Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience handling confidential information in a professional manner
