Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment for patients. You will be the face of the center, greeting guests, assisting with form completion, and ensuring a smooth check-in process.

You will manage scheduling, calls, and administrative tasks across the EMR system while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Flexibility and strong communication skills are essential, with possible regional center rotations.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by communities we serve.
• US work authorization required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Check-in patients and assist with required forms.
• Collect co-pays.
• Update patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Schedule and reschedule appointments in the EMR.
• Answer and manage phone lines and outbound calls.
• Manage faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintain cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May float to other centers in the region occasionally.
• Other duties as assigned.
