Job summary

Oak Street Health is hiring a Welcome Coordinator to create a warm, inclusive environment for patients. You will handle check-in, form completion, co-pay collection, EMR updates, and scheduling, while maintaining a welcoming, high-touch patient experience.

The role may require occasional travel to other centers in the region and involves handling calls and administrative tasks with a patient-first mindset. Strong computer skills, fluent communication in relevant languages, and US work

Qualifications

Strong computer skills and Google Suite knowledge.
Professional phone etiquette.
Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve.
US work authorization.
Some college preferred.
A flexible and positive attitude and welcoming demeanor.

Responsibilities

Welcoming patients and guests.
Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with required forms.
Collecting co-pays.
Updating patient information and making changes in EMR platform.
Scheduling/rescheduling appointments within EMR platform.
Managing phone lines by answering, taking messages, and outbound calls as instructed.
Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the Welcome and Community Room areas.
May be required to float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis.
