Qualifications

• 1–2 years of clerical/administrative experience, ideally in health care, preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and identifies their needs.
• Verifies insurance information through managed care systems.
• Answers incoming calls and takes messages for providers.
• Registers patients, updates demographics, and assigns PCP when applicable.
• Schedules and reschedules appointments as needed.
• Maintains charts and provides administrative support to the department.
