Community Health Center, Inc. (CHC) in Stamford, CT seeks a Patient Service Associate to be the first point of contact for patients. You will greet and schedule patients, manage phone systems, and promote CHC's commitment to excellence while maintaining confidentiality and data accuracy.

You will handle scheduling, patient demographics, insurance information, and payments, ensuring smooth patient flow and quality service in a busy medical environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in medical office or medical assistant field.
• Bilingual skills, Spanish speaking, required.
• Exceptional customer service skills and strong communication abilities.
• Proven ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Healthcare experience in medical, dental, or behavioral health preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors and callers.
• Oversee the reception area to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable atmosphere.
• Greet patients and visitors and assist as appropriate.
• Review schedules daily to ensure accuracy and fill appointment opportunities.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments per CHC guidelines.
• Collect, verify, update and document patient demographics and insurance information.
• Reconcile patient visits daily and assist with payments and forms.
