Job summary

Community Health Center is seeking a Patient Service Associate to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors in Stamford, CT. You will greet, schedule, answer calls and manage the front desk with a focus on excellent customer service and accuracy in data entry.

The role requires bilingual Spanish, strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to work with diverse populations. Prior healthcare front desk experience is preferred and full-time hours are provided.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or medical assistance training required.
• Bilingual Spanish required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with EHR and medical office procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient service at the front desk and greet visitors.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; manage daily appointment flow.
• Answer and direct calls, document interactions in the EHR system.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information; collect payments.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect patient information.
• Escalate concerns to site leads and support inventory monitoring.
