Community Health Center of Middletown is hiring for a full-time front desk/Patient Experience Specialist. You will greet patients, visitors, and callers, maintain a welcoming reception area, and support scheduling according to CHC guidelines.

This role requires an Associates degree or medical office training, bilingual Spanish skills, and excellent verbal and written communication. You will verify demographics, insurance, and assist with payments while maintaining patient confidentiality and

Qualificações

• Associates degree, medical office or medical assistant degree required.
• Bilingual skills, Spanish speaking, required.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors and callers.
• Oversee the reception area atmosphere for safety and comfort.
• Greet patients and visitors and assist them as appropriate.
• Review schedules for accuracy and fill appointment opportunities.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments per CHC guidelines.
• Collect, verify, update and document patient demographics and insurance information.
• Review and complete Telephone encounters (TEs) timely and accurately.
• Reconcile patient visits daily.
• Verify active insurance coverage and status and keep information updated.
• Collect patient payments, balances and copays.
• Assist patients with payment plans/sliding fee applications.
• Complete end of day reporting and ensure records balance.
• Answer and direct incoming calls and document in EHR.
• Ensure forms are completed and scanned into EHR.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
