Qualifications

• Familiarity or prior experience with office setting.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Must be articulate with good interpersonal skills.
• Must have typing speed of at least 20 words per minute.
• Must be able to accurately enter data.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, family or related individuals with excellent customer service.
• Perform registration, appointments, cashiering and medical records tasks as assigned.
• Provide translation assistance to facilitate patient/provider interaction.
• Report workflow problems and training needs to supervisory staff.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support flow, patient care and safety.
• Assist with discharge planning and follow-up scheduling per provider instructions.
• Answer phones promptly and take messages per LFHC policies.
• Handle eHR tasks including scanning, check-out and recall management.
