You will contact patients, confirm schedules, collect co-pays, enter insurance data, and ensure accurate records. The position is based in Humble, TX, and emphasizes teamwork and independent work in a medical facility.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a medical facility.
• BLS certification required.
• Familiarity with insurance processes and patient financial responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments and reschedule as needed.
• Determine co-payments and enter insurance information into records.
• Prioritize and process pre-authorizations and appeals as needed.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and relevant parties about procedures.
• Ensure documentation is complete and accurate in patient records.
• Send prescriptions to pharmacies and maintain scheduling flow.
• Respond to patient inquiries and update patient information in the database.
• Support verification department with pre-authorization submissions.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.
