The role handles insurance details, co-pays, authorizations, and scheduling, ensuring accuracy in patient records and timely follow-ups.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma, at least 1 year in a medical facility, and strong organizational and communication skills to support efficient patient care and smooth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year in a medical facility.
• BLS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments and communicate clearly with patients.
• Determine co-payments, Insurance details and enter data into records.
• Prioritize authorizations and assist with appeals.
• Schedule, reschedule, and inform patients about procedures.
• Fax or email prescriptions to pharmacies and update patient info.
• Respond to inquiries and maintain accurate documentation.
