Phoenix Ortho Injury Spine & Extremity in Stone Mountain, GA is seeking a professional Intake Coordinator who is highly organized and patient-focused. You will handle incoming patient calls, complete new patient intake, verify information, and coordinate appointments across multiple providers and locations.

The ideal candidate has healthcare experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with CareCloud EMR. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional telephone presence.

• Comfort communicating with patients by phone.
• Basic computer skills; quick to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for new patients.
• Complete new patient intake with demographics, insurance, referrals.
• Enter and maintain patient information in CareCloud EMR.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments across providers/locations.
• Manage scheduling across time zones.
• Communicate appointment details and pre-visit instructions.
• Provide high-quality customer service amid high call volumes.
• Ensure patient records are complete and updated.
• Collaborate with clinical/admin staff to resolve scheduling.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
