Job summary

Ortho Sport and Spine Physicians is a rapidly expanding orthopedic practice seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to greet patients, manage check-ins/outs, schedule appointments, and support front-desk operations.

Ideal candidates demonstrate outstanding communication, patient-focused service, and basic medical terminology familiarity. Prior front desk experience is preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus in a busy, multi-lingual environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• 1 year medical front desk experience.
• Customer service background.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in person or by phone, answering inquiries.
• Check in/out patients and optimize room utilization.
• Maintain and update patient demographic and financial records.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with pre-cert team.
• Verify insurance information and EMR data.
• Handle outpatient referrals and provide printouts of appointments.
