Actalent is seeking a Bilingual Patient Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for patients at a community health clinic. The role requires fluency in Spanish and English, with responsibilities spanning appointment scheduling, data entry in EMR (EPIC), and patient education across primary care, dental, and mental health services.

The ideal candidate brings at least two years of relevant experience, strong customer service skills, and a solid grasp of HIPAA regulations.

Competenze

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required for patient interactions.
• At least 2 years in administrative, call center, or customer service roles.
• Experience handling electronic medical records (EMR), preferably EPIC.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic administrative tasks.

Mansioni

• Greet and assist patients in English and Spanish in a friendly manner.
• Be the primary contact for patients via phone and in person.
• Schedule appointments and maintain a high-volume calendar.
• Assist with patient check-in/check-out and data entry in EMR.
• Provide accurate information about services and clinic policies.
• Coordinate care with medical, dental, and behavioral health teams.
• Maintain patient privacy in all communications and records.
