Job summary

CLS Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to be the first point of contact for patients and to coordinate financial responsibilities. You will ensure a positive patient experience and maintain accurate records in a busy medical office.

The role requires excellent communication, multitasking ability, and attention to detail. Bilingual Spanish speaking is a must, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with insurance billing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is a must.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information.
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service.
• Ensure the referrals are in the patient's chart before the patient comes in.
• Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date.
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms. Once close is completed, sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation.
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
