Delaware County Women's Center in Upland, PA seeks a Patient Advocate / Receptionist / Outreach Assistant to join our team for Tue/Thu/Saturday hours, including every Saturday. The role supports patients with education, referrals, intake, and payments, working with the Outreach and Engagement Department on funding and access to abortion services.

The position requires a HS diploma or GED, strong computer skills (EHR a plus), bilingual candidates preferred (Spanish highly sought), and the ability

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required for basic lab responsibilities
• Strong computer skills; EHR experience a plus
• Bilingual candidates preferred, Spanish-speaking highly sought

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient needs with fact-based education, supportive counseling and referrals
• Advocate for patients and families, provide referrals when needed
• Perform basic lab tests for iron level and Rh
• Front desk tasks: patient check-in, chart preparation and payment collections
• Manage insurance issues and seek funding with outside organizations
• Reconcile deposits and complete tracking paperwork
• Assist in intern training
