Job summary

The Moses/Weitzman Health System is seeking a Patient Service Associate to be the friendly first impression for patients and staff in a busy clinical setting. You will greet, schedule, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and support the front desk with phones and data entry, while upholding confidentiality and HIPAA standards.

Successful candidates will have an Associate degree, bilingual Spanish skills, and outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or medical office-related program required.
• Medical assistant degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Bilingual Spanish required.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to multitask in a busy clinical front desk.
• Healthcare experience in medical, dental, or behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors and callers.
• Oversee the reception area to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment.
• Greet patients and visitors and assist them as appropriate.
• Review schedules daily for accuracy and fill appointment opportunities.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments per CHC guidelines.
• Collect, verify, and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Reconcile patient visits daily.
