Job summary

Mosaic Community Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative to support patients from our centralized call center and administrative office. You will answer calls, schedule appointments, register patients, and pre-verify information to ensure a smooth first visit, using the EHR system.

You will handle pre-registration and registration verification for all patients, assisting both new and established patients and guiding them through the patient journey with a focus on service quality and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard office policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of standard office machines (copier, fax, shredder, multi-line telephone, printers).
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to effectively and respectfully handle dissatisfied patients.
• Fluency in Spanish is helpful.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products preferred.
• Computer literacy and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls, transfer and/or route messages to the appropriate clinic, pool, and/or individual.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality customer service while answering questions.
• Schedule patients in accordance with established provider schedules and clinic protocols.
• Promote, educate, and troubleshoot MyChart use and issues for patients.
