Job summary

TCA Health Inc. is seeking a Switchboard Operator/Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients.

You will manage a multi-line phone system, schedule appointments in EPIC, verify insurance, and guide callers to the appropriate clinics across Chicago and NW Indiana. You will perform outreach for preventive care, assist with referrals, and address questions about services and the sliding fee scale while delivering compassionate, bilingual support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Fluent bilingual Spanish and English communication is required.
• 1-2 years of relevant medical, call center, or switchboard experience preferred.
• Proficient in data entry and navigating Electronic Medical Records (EMR/Epic).
• Strong listening, empathy, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
