Hanger, Inc. in Bellaire, TX is seeking a Bilingual Patient Access Coordinator to ensure a seamless patient experience at the front desk and through the intake process.

The role emphasizes strong communication in English and Spanish, front office proficiency, and accurate data entry. You will support patients, staff, and referral sources while coordinating appointments and maintaining electronic health records in a fast-paced medical office.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and written communication skills.
• Front desk or medical receptionist experience preferred.
• Typing at least 30 words per minute with accuracy.
• Ability to work with handicapped individuals and handle sensitive information.
• Experience with medical front office procedures is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival, provide wait time information and answer inquiries at the front desk.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance details during check-in; handle walk-in registrations.
• Collect patient payments, including deductibles, copays, and co-insurance at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, including cast and measure, delivery, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as a liaison for clinic services, offering information on patient experience programs, support groups, and other resources.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team to obtain necessary patient information.
• Ensure accurate and complete electronic health records for all patients.
