Job summary

Planet Fitness in Ohio is seeking a part-time Member Services Representative for weekend/morning shifts. You will greet members, handle front desk duties, sign up new members, answer questions, and process POS transactions to support a welcoming, judgment-free experience.

The role requires excellent customer service, the ability to stay upbeat and professional, and reliable attendance. Bilingual English/Spanish encouraged; must be at least 18 with a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills; ability to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a High School diploma/GED equivalent.
• Bilingual English/Spanish encouraged to apply.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests providing exceptional customer service making everyone feel comfortable and welcome.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
• Check members in, tour and sign up new members, log amenities and communicate updates and events to members and guests.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct beverage or merchandise purchases on the point to sale system.
• Utilize POS system to assist with new membership cards, change of address and billing or payment questions.
• Go above and beyond to keep the front desk area and lobby clean and orderly.
• Regular facility cleaning and upkeep such as mopping up spills under equipment, trash removal, cleaning windows and mirrors, and re-racking weights.
• Regular cleaning of all exercise equipment and tanning beds.
• Regular restroom and wet area cleaning and stocking.
