Self-Help is seeking a Member Service Representative in Jacksonville to provide exceptional member service, process routine transactions, and promote credit union products. You will initiate conversations to identify member needs, open accounts, and maintain accurate records while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

The role requires at least 1 year in a financial or customer service setting, cash handling experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in financial institution or other customer service industry preferred.
• Prior cash handling and customer service responsibilities preferred.
• Preference for teamwork and collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Initiate and lead conversations to identify and assess member needs.
• Maintain and enhance member account relationships by providing excellent member service.
• Process share deposit payments, loan payments, manual payrolls, and account transfers.
• Disburse cash and check withdrawals.
• Open new membership accounts and assess for accuracy and compliance.
• Promote credit union products and services.
• Maintain base knowledge of consumer and mortgage loans to refer products.
• Perform outbound calls to members as needed.
• Achieve branch growth goals and observe security controls.
