Job summary

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a financial institution or customer service.
• Prior cash handling and customer service responsibilities preferred.
• Preference for teamwork and collaboration.
• Strong commitment to mission and customer service excellence.
• Ability to train and use credit union systems and proprietary software.
• Flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• May travel to cover other branches.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiate conversations to identify member needs.
• Maintain and enhance member account relationships with excellent service.
• Process share deposits, loan payments, payrolls, and transfers.
• Disburse cash and check withdrawals.
• Open new membership accounts and ensure accuracy.
• Research member inquiries about services and accounts.
• Promote credit union products and services.
• Observe security controls and protect against fraudulent activity.
• Travel to local events as needed; weekends may be required.
