Job summary

Oportun in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a bilingual English/Spanish Member Loyalty Representative to deliver friendly member service, process transactions, and educate customers about our inclusive financial services. You will engage customers at our stores and in the community to help them understand Oportun’s offerings and to start applications.

You will also participate in outreach activities, build relationships with local businesses, and work toward daily goals while maintaining quality

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Outgoing, sales-focused, and enjoy speaking with people.
• Regular, reliable attendance to support store operations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members with a warm greeting and provide quality member service.
• Process all transactions following policy and protect member information.
• Work independently or with a team to exceed daily lending and servicing goals.
• Engage in outreach more than 50% of the time at locations and events to educate about Oportun’s services.
• Assist with applications and guide members through the process.
