Job summary

Verda Health Plan of Texas is seeking a Member Experience Advocate – Bilingual (Vietnamese/English) to deliver exceptional service to members, families, providers, and caregivers. This on-site role handles enrollment inquiries, benefits explanations, and referrals with empathy and accuracy.

You will work across phone, email, and in-person channels, documenting interactions in our systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a customer-first mindset in a mission-driven health plan environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Vietnamese with strong communication skills.
• 1–2 years of call center or related customer service experience.
• 1–2 years of prior experience with Medicare/Medicare Advantage plans.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or pharmacy is desirable.
• Data entry and general computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and address member inquiries.
• Explain benefits and plan options in person, email, or phone.
• Follow up to clarify issues and resolve member questions.
• Escalate issues to management when needed.
• Document interactions and maintain HIPAA compliance.
