Job summary

Verda Health Plan of Texas seeks a Member Experience Advocate—Bilingual (Vietnamese/English)—to join our onsite contact-center team. You will assist senior members with enrollment, benefits, claims, and referrals, delivering compassionate, accurate service in a fast-paced environment.

You will interact via phone, email, and in-person channels, document all interactions, comply with HIPAA and regulatory guidelines, and collaborate with providers and departments to resolve issues and improve

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English and Vietnamese.
• 1–2 years call center or related customer service experience.
• 1–2 years experience with Medica.
• Healthcare, insurance or pharmacy industry experience desired.
• Data entry and general computer skills.
• Effective communication (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Explain benefits and plan options in person, via email, or by phone.
• Follow up with members to resolve issues and explain solutions.
• Escalate issues to management or other departments as needed.
• Meet or exceed departmental standards for quality, productivity, and attendance.
• Document interactions and summarize actions in the system.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve member issues.
