Job summary

Interra Credit Union is seeking a Bilingual Member Consultant I to support members across multiple branches. The role involves assisting with transactions, educating members on a broad range of financial products, and delivering high-quality service.

The position may float between Region One and Region Two during onboarding, with shifts varying by branch needs. Role requires strong customer service and communication skills; bilingual proficiency may trigger a pay premium.

Qualifications

• 1+ years customer service experience in banking, retail, or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive member experience by cultivating, maintaining, and enhancing relationships.
• Balance cash drawer and daily transactions; assist with daily balancing and branch closing.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and sales of money orders/travelers checks.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and educate members on credit union products.
• Support branch operations, including weekends/extended hours as needed.
