Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Medical Receptionist for the Toppenish Medical-Dental Clinic in Toppenish, WA.

You will be the friendly first point of contact, handling phones, scheduling, and patient intake to ensure smooth clinic operations. The role offers 32 hours per week, bilingual English/Spanish eligibility, 100% employer-paid health insurance, and additional pay for bilingual skills.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year's experience as a Receptionist in a clinic preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking skills required at a level 9.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with interruptions and deliver strong customer service.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare billing desired.

Aufgaben

• Answers the phone, transfers calls, and takes messages for the clinic.
• Greet patients, maintain logs, and provide translation as needed.
• Collects accurate patient data, creates charts, and updates information.
• Schedules appointments and notifies Providers of no-shows and cancellations.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and handles related questions.
• Responds to patient inquiries in person, by phone, or via patient portal.
• May perform routine billing tasks and reconcile daily cash.
• Attend to daily duties as assigned.
