Vista Community Clinic (VCC) is seeking a patient-facing front desk clerk to greet patients, verify insurance, and manage scheduling and intake procedures.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in a medical/dental office, strong customer service, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency. The role supports multiple clinic programs and requires accurate data entry and office software familiarity.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year experience in a medical or dental office.
• Experience in verifying and billing insurance/program eligibility.
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Responsabilités

• Greet patients in-person and by phone in a professional manner.
• Verify insurance eligibility and copy insurance cards.
• Perform financial and eligibility screening for clinic programs.
• Print daily schedule and confirm next day's appointments.
• Complete appropriate paperwork for patients (school excuses, Head Start forms, etc.).
• Schedule follow-up appointments for referrals from other sites.
• Call, reschedule and mail letters to all patients who are seen.
• Assist patients with check-in and complete encounters and personal records forms.
