Shah Eye Center in Mission, TX is seeking a Call Center Customer Service Representative to handle inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide information on eye procedures and financing. The role is full-time and on-site, with a hourly pay rate of $12.00–$13.00.

The position requires at least one year of customer service experience, excellent phone skills, bilingual English/Spanish, and familiarity with Nextech Software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year customer service experience.
• Excellent telephone communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task: answer calls, document and summarize details, while speaking to callers.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Responsabilités

• Screen incoming calls providing prospective patients with information on medical procedures, costs and financing.
• Use customer service skills when dealing with patients over the phone.
• Route calls or take messages.
• Ensure demographic and insurance information is accurate and collected.
• Schedule/Reschedule appointments using Nextech Software.
• Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments.
• Follow up on missed appointments.
• Check voicemail and return calls.
• Maintain daily patient count per doctor/location.
• Verify and organize fax folders and chart information.
• Assist with Call Center training and other duties as assigned.
