Job summary

Avanath seeks an experienced Leasing Specialist to drive leasing, marketing, and positive resident relations at our Oakland community.

The role requires 2+ years in sales or customer relations, experience with low-income housing is a plus, bilingual English/Spanish is highly desired, and proficiency with Windows, email, and Yardi Voyager. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is expected to meet resident needs and keep the community thriving.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience.
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience is highly desired.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly desired.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
• Solid computer knowledge, Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and e-mail.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify all prospects.
• Record all telephone and in-person visits on guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Demonstrate community features and close the sale.
• Have the prospect complete the application and secure a deposit.
• Update availability report and process approvals.
