Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools at Pacific Middle School in Vancouver, WA seeks a Special Education Paraeducator on a temporary basis. The role supports instruction under the Special Education Instructor and Building Principal, with responsibilities including one-to-one and small group instruction and data collection for IEP goals.

Hours are 6 per day (9:35 a.m.–4:05 p.m.), 190 days/year. Eligible employees receive health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits; starting salary is at the minimum rate

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet one or more of: ParaPro score 455+, an associate degree or higher, 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits, or completion of a Paraeducator Apprenticeship Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision of instructional activities for students.
• Provide one-to-one and small group instruction as directed by the teacher.
• Maintain data on student progress and assist with assessments.
