Job summary

The Whole Child is seeking an Intake Coordinator in Whittier, CA to screen intake requests, collect demographics and insurance data, and enter information into the agency's Electronic Health Record System. The role supports clinical staff by organizing referrals and monitoring wait lists.

Ideal candidates are bilingual (English/Spanish), proficient in Word/Excel, and highly organized with strong customer service andcommunication skills.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a human service field.
• Minimum 2 years in a human service agency.

Responsibilities

• Screen intake referrals and complete RFS forms.
• Enter client information into EHR and maintain records.
• Log calls and manage wait lists for SCU.
• Coordinate referrals with program directors and supervisors.
• Provide information about services to callers and colleagues.
