Job summary

Saafe Behavioral Services seeks an Intake Coordinator to manage the front-end of patient access, ensuring accurate intake data collection and smooth scheduling in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You will greet clients, gather demographic, insurance, and clinical information, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records while collaborating with clinicians and staff. Training is provided for those new to healthcare, with a focus on compassionate, professional service.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with empathy and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients.
  • Experience in mental health or healthcare settings is a plus, but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for new clients.
