Job summary

Children's Institute is seeking an Intake and Registration Coordinator to ensure timely and compassionate access to behavioral and community health services. You will manage referrals, perform intake and registration, verify insurance eligibility, and maintain accurate client records in line with HIPAA and program standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years in medical/behavioral health intake preferred.
• Experience with Medi-Cal, Managed Care Plans, and enrollment processes a plus.
• Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage referrals and perform intake and registration processes.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect required documentation.
• Enter and maintain client data in the EHR accurately.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to support timely service linkage.
• Communicate intake status and next steps to clients and referrals.
