Lansing Building Products, LLC is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to be the main showroom contact, handling inquiries, orders, and quotes for windows and exterior building products. You will leverage product knowledge and an inventory system to ensure accurate fulfillment and excellent customer service.

The role requires bilingual Spanish proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish proficiency is required.
• Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.
• High integrity and commitment to customer service.
• Strong interest in sales and/or retail, evidenced by experience or education.
• Ability to work well in a team and with customers independently.
• Solid computer skills (keyboard/monitor use).
• Goal-oriented with willingness to take on new challenges.
• Knowledge of building principles/products is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A Day in the Life at Lansing: Inside Sales Representative

Inside Sales Responsibilities:

• Embody our mission statement, centered on our values of respect, service, and excellence
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers visiting the showroom
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, answering customer inquiries and processing orders
• Prepare quotes for windows and other exterior building products based on architect plans
• Provide exceptional service to all customers by developing a thorough knowledge of Lansing's products and services
• Use our nationally-linked inventory management system to fill customer orders and maintain inventory control
• Be willing to assist in the warehouse, including loading and unloading materials as needed

Inside Sales Qualifications:

• Bilingual / Spanish proficiency required
• Prior sales experience preferred, but not required
• High level of integrity and commitment to customer service
• Strong interest in sales and/or retail, as evidenced by previous job experience or education
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently with customers
