Community Partners in Action (CPA) seeks a Part-Time Human Services Worker - Bilingual (Spanish/English) for Hartford Transitional Housing in Hartford, CT. The 2nd shift runs 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, totaling 32 hours weekly, with compensation of $22.50 per hour.

The role supports residents through supervision, advocacy, intake, crisis de-escalation, and program logistics while upholding safety and professional standards.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma/GED, associate or bachelor's degree.
• Prior experience in the human services field with justice involved clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor resident activities in accordance with program policies and maintain a safe environment.
• Advocate for participants to encourage participation and accountability.
• Mediate resident conflicts using solutions-focused approaches.
• Maintain professional boundaries and log incidents as required.
