Job summary

Community Partners in Action, Inc. (CPA) in Hartford, CT seeks a Lead Human Services Worker for the Transitional House Program. The role supports men in a supervised, residential setting and advances equity and rehabilitation within criminal justice reform.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience supervising staff.
• Experience with justice-involved clients with substance abuse, mental health or other behavior issues is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Commit to agency mission and program goals.
• Promote a culture of respect, empathy, belonging and inclusion.
• Supervise and monitor resident activities in compliance with policies.
• Assist with orientation and training of new staff.
• Provide crisis de-escalation and behavioral motivation as needed.
• Complete incident reports accurately and timely.
