Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a bilingual HR Generalist to support operations across sites in California. The role requires English/Spanish fluency, strong employee relations experience, and the ability to manage onboarding, performance, and policy compliance.

You will partner with site managers, assist with training, wage reviews, and benefit administration while ensuring adherence to union and non-union frameworks. Occasional travel to multiple sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in both union and non-union environments.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, onboarding, and compliance.
• Ability to train and coach managers and staff on HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with policies, regulations, and reporting.
• Partner with training for employee and manager development.
• Coach managers on employee relations issues and performance.
• Lead engagement initiatives and conduct regular site visits.
• Handle personnel transactions and government reporting.
• Support wage reviews, pay changes, and compensation guidance.
• Investigate grievances and manage separations as needed.
• Collaborate with operations as an HR consultant and travel as required.
