Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking an HR Generalist to coordinate employee relations, onboarding, training, performance management, recruitment, retention and compliance across sites.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field and 2-4 years of HR Generalist experience; travel to sites is expected in a hybrid-onsite schedule. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required; compensation ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
• 2–4 years of HR Generalist experience (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting a unionized workforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and reporting regulations affecting HR functions.
• Partner with training to arrange training needs for employee and manager development.
• Coaches and assists managers with employee relations issues in line with SBM and CBA policies.
• Drive employee engagement through site visits, training, and use of the mobile app; communicate ESAT plans.
• Drafts and maintains personnel transactions and government reporting; provides regular departmental reporting.
• Supports talent reviews, separations, and investigations as needed.
• Consults with managers and finance on pay activities and wage reviews; ensures pay within ranges.
• Guides performance management processes; supports project objectives and reporting.
• Maintains relationships with operations as HR consultant; travel to sites as required.
