Job summary

SBM is seeking an HR Generalist (Bilingual Spanish preferred) to manage employee relations, training, onboarding, and compliance across sites. The role requires collaboration with managers, involvement in wage reviews, and ensuring adherence to CBAs and company policies.

Travel to multiple sites is expected. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field and has 2–4 years of HR Generalist experience, with proficiency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
• 2–4 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting HR functions.
• Partner with training to address development needs for employees and managers.
• Coach managers on employee relations issues aligned with policies.
• Lead engagement initiatives and conduct site visits to improve ESAT.
• Manage personnel transactions (hirings, promotions, transfers, reviews, terminations).
• Support pay activities and ensure changes stay within pay ranges.
• Oversee performance management processes (PIPs, CAPs).
• Investigate employee relations matters and conduct hearings as needed.
• Maintain relationships with operations and site managers as an HR consultant.
