Job summary

SBM Offshore is seeking an HR Generalist to coordinate employee relations, training, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, retention and compliance with laws and policies. The role requires travel to multiple sites and experience in both union and non-union environments.

A bilingual English/Spanish professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and 2–4 years of HR Generalist experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field with 2–4 years HR Generalist experience
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
• Experience in both union and non-union environments
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations
• Ability to manage employee relations, onboarding, training, and performance management

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding and policy implementation
• Ensure compliance with company, state and federal laws and regulations
• Advise managers on employee relations issues and discipline
• Drive engagement through site management trainings and ESAT action plans
• Maintain records of hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews and terminations
• Support wage reviews and pay changes within established pay ranges
• Conduct exit interviews and investigations when necessary
• Communicate project status and manage time and cost in HR initiatives
• Travel to different sites as required
