A growing food distribution organization is seeking a bilingual English/Spanish HR Associate to support employees and help keep daily HR processes organized and accurate.
This is an opportunity for someone with 2+ years of HR experience who wants to build on their skills in onboarding, employee records, benefits and payroll support. You’ll work with HR Managers and Operations across multiple locations within a company whose culture is rooted in family values.
Coordinate interviews, onboarding, I-9 verification and new-hire orientation.
Update employee information in the HR system and maintain confidential files.
Assist with benefits enrollments and employee changes.
Review timecards and prepare payroll information for review.
Help maintain compliance records and workplace incident documentation.
Schedule safety training and track completion.
2+ years of experience as an HR associate, coordinator, administrator or in a similar HR support role.
Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
Experience supporting onboarding, employee records and other daily HR processes.
Familiarity with an HRIS and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
A working understanding of HR compliance requirements, including I-9, leave administration and wage and hour practices.
Strong organization, attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
Preferred: Paycom experience; exposure to benefits or payroll support; experience in a multi-state, manufacturing or distribution environment. A related bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
Build experience across several HR functions with support from HR Managers.
Work directly with employees and facility teams.
