Job summary

Square is seeking Global Seller Onboarding Specialists to project-manage onboarding through discovery and setup, guiding sellers to fully leverage Square’s platform. This customer-facing role blends remote and onsite interactions and supports international expansion.

Ideal candidates have 4-5+ years in a customer-facing role, demonstrated project management experience, and bilingual English/Spanish skills. Remote work and training duties are included along with occasional hardware installations.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of experience in a customer facing role, preferably in software implementation, support, sales/account management or customer success.
• Proven track record delivering multiple complex tech projects with internal and external clients.
• Previous Project Management experience is expected.
• Experience in hardware installation and network configuration is a plus.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide an incredible onboarding experience for Sellers and guide them through discovery and onboarding.
• Accelerate the sales cycle by specializing onboarding and training.
• Develop new efficiencies to shorten the onboarding sales stage.
• Support Square’s international expansion efforts.
• Drive world-class onboarding and implementation experiences with accountability to go-live timelines.
• Cultivate cross-functional relationships with Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Engineering and Product.
• Master Square’s platform and ecosystem to serve as a trusted subject-matter expert.
• Lead high-impact multi-merchant projects with competing priorities.
• Create and maintain engaging training materials for internal teams and external partners.
• Execute accurate data entry and migration tasks for select sellers during onboarding.
• Remote merchant work: virtual consultations, training, and guidance on hardware/software/operations.
• Occasional onsite merchant work, including training and hardware installation.
• Data entry: configure customer accounts and optimize menu setup for onboarding.
