Qualifications

• Associates degree in medical office or medical assistant required.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking required.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to multi task.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and schedule appointments.
• Answer and manage busy phone system.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collect payments, balances and copays.
• Assist patients with payment plans/sliding fee applications.
• Document in EHR and balance end-of-day reports.
• Maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Escalate concerns to site leads as needed.
• Support inventory of office supplies.
