Job summary

CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a Floridian-based Patient Services Coordinator to support multi-site Tampa region clinics. You’ll handle front desk tasks, greet patients, manage calls and messages, verify insurances, and relay financial responsibilities with empathy.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and time management, plus reliability in a fast-paced team setting. Fluency in Spanish is preferred; familiarity with healthcare terminology is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Recent customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Reliable, honest, and adaptable in fast-paced team environments.
• Preferred: healthcare office experience and fluency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and build rapport in person and over the phone.
• Screen calls, take messages, and relay information as needed.
• Explain insurance benefits and patient financial responsibilities.
• Manage referrals and prescriptions; communicate first visit expectations.
• Scan insurance and ID cards into patient files.
• Collect co-pays and balances; submit charges to Clinic Manager.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming clinic environment per CDC guidelines.
