Urban Health Plan in Bronx, NY is seeking a Health Care Administrative Support role as a Patient Services Representative (Behavioral Health). You will greet and register patients, verify information, and assist with appointment scheduling in a fast-paced Behavioral Health setting.

This on-site, full-time position requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years of clerical experience, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities to provide compassionate patient service and accurate chart maintenance.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of clerical/administrative experience preferred, ideally in healthcare.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional patient experience.
• Understanding of phone etiquette and standard office procedures.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Greets patients and identifies their needs.
• Verifies insurance information through managed care website.
• Answers incoming calls and takes messages for providers.
• Registers patients, assigns PCP when applicable, checks demographics, updates information.
• Schedules and reschedules appointments.
• Maintains charts and provides administrative support to the department.
