Job summary

Alba Ministries in Youngstown, OH, is seeking a Family Service Advisor to serve families with compassion, guiding them through the Order of Christian Funerals and options with a consultative approach rather than hard selling.

You'll live your faith in a mission-driven role, working autonomously within a supportive team as you accompany families from arrangement meetings to committals and parish outreach, with base pay and uncapped commissions plus a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in a sales environment with face-to-face customer contact.
• Interest in working in a Catholic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong time-management.
• Proficient with computers and software.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Guide families through the Order of Christian Funerals and their options with a consultative, relationship-driven approach.
• Walk families through arrangements and accompany them through the full arc from meetings to committals and parish outreach.
• Work autonomously while being supported by a team that forms and sustains you.
• Engage with families in a respectful, compassionate manner across multiple touchpoints.

We’re looking for someone with…

• 2-4 years working in a sales environment having face-to-face contact with the customer
• Interest in working in a Catholic environment, all backgrounds welcome to apply
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, displaying compassionate care, both in person and on the telephone
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and excellent time management skills
• Proficient in the use of computers, software, and technology
• Bilingual in Spanish
