Job summary

Diocese of Oakland Catholic Cemeteries in Lafayette, CA is seeking a Family Service Advisor to support grieving families with compassionate, consultative guidance through funeral and cemetery planning. You will build relationships, guide families through available services, and work with a supportive team, all while living our Catholic values.

Qualifications include 2–4 years in sales, strong communication, Spanish a plus, and a valid driver's license; base salary is $50,000 with uncapped

• Base Salary of $50,000

We’re looking for someone with…

• 2-4 years working in a sales environment having face-to-face contact with the customer
• Interest in working in a Catholic environment. This is about calling, not checkboxes. All faiths and backgrounds welcome — what we need is a heart that’s genuinely drawn to this mission
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, displaying compassionate care, both in person and on the telephone
• Strong organization and excellent time management skills
• Bilingual Spanish language skills are a plus (verbal, and written)
• Proficient computers, software, and technology aptitude
• Valid Driver’s License
