Job summary

CSL in Greenville, SC is seeking an entry-level Pheresis Process Technician responsible for preparing the autopheresis machine, donor area, and equipment for the pheresis process, and for monitoring the donor during the procedure.

You will record incidents with a PDA, ensure accurate donor data in the donor management system, follow SOPs, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while complying with HSE/OSHA policies. Overtime and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in a medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions during or after pheresis and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents using the PDA, including machine alerts, alarms, and donor events.
• Link equipment and supplies used in the pheresis process to the donor in the donor management system.
